I am currently a lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Federation University and for the past nine years have taught common core courses in addition to the mechanical courses. My research interest for the past several years has been in engineering education, in particular student teams and teamwork.
Prior to university I worked in Heavy transport and automotive, as a designer and product engineer for specialist semi-trailers and car sealing and suspension components. I am a former motorcycle racer and now use my small amount of spare time restoring 1970’s Ford Falcons, because a real car is powered by a cast-iron pushrod engine.
